I have to be up bright and early to take 2 dogs to the vet in the morning! I'm getting the solid black Cavachon female spayed, and taking the black/white female Cavachon that's going home to Fresno on Wednesday to get her Health Certificate.
Before I go to bed tonight, I have to be sure that the Black Cavachon has no access to food or water. They'll keep her all day long, and overnight, which is always helpful for me. We live 25 miles from the vet, a 30 minute drive on good roads (translate that...roads without snow or ice), so making 2 trips in one day always seems like a LOT!
The dog getting spayed is still available for adoption, and her $500 fee will include this spay!! She's a bit shy, but is a really sweet girl, and will make a nice pet for someone. The advantage to getting an older dog is that they can be crated at night and/or during parts of the day, and they probably won't mess in their crate because they already have bladder control and don't want to mess their crate. It really works well for someone that wants to crate train the dog anyway!
I'll try to post pictures of her after she's been spayed. We don't have a name for her yet.
How old is the black Cavachon now? Where does she live--in your house? Or outside in the kennel?
